- General
- These general terms and conditions ("General Terms and Conditions") apply when Dentme Sverige AB, 559494-2764, ("Dentme") provides a service (the "Service") to a consumer ("Customer", "Patient"). The Service provided by Dentme is subscription-based dental care that includes a web-based platform where the Customer can, for example, book an Examination, contact Dentme and access their medical records. The Service is further specified in an agreement between the Customer and Dentme (the "Agreement"). For Customers who access the Service via an employer, the terms agreed between Dentme and the employer apply.
- Dentme is a registered care provider under the supervision of the Care Inspectorate.
- The Agreement shall be deemed concluded when Dentme has accepted the Customer's order. Dentme accepts the Customer's order by sending a confirmation to the Customer after the Customer has undergone an initial Examination at Dentme's clinic. Until Dentme sends out such confirmation, no binding agreement has been concluded between Dentme and the Customer.
- User registration
- To access the Service, the Customer must register and create a user account for the platform on the Dentmes websitewww.dentme.com. The creation of a user account can only be granted if the Customer has a valid e-mail address. In order to use the Service, the Customer must be at least 18 years of age and be able to identify themselves with an e-identification.
- In connection with the creation of the user account, the Customer shall book a visit for an initial examination at Dentmes' clinic. The Customer undergoing such an examination is a prerequisite for the conclusion of a contract. Dentme may, after the initial Examination, choose not to enter into an agreement with the Customer if, for example, the Customer's dental health is worse than expected and specialist care is necessary. In such cases, the Customer does not have to pay for the Examination.
- The customer's responsibility
- The Customer agrees to comply with the General Terms and Conditions and any other instructions published by Dentme from time to time on the Platform or on Dentme's websitewww.dentme.com.
- The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided by the Customer in connection with the registration and use of the Service. Dentme shall not be liable for any damages arising from or as a result of the Customer providing incorrect information or not updating the information.
- The Customer shall store personal and user-specific information in a secure manner and not use or share this information with any unauthorized person. If the Customer suspects, or ought to suspect, that such information has been disclosed to an unauthorized person or otherwise misused, the Customer is obliged to immediately take relevant measures to restrict access to the Service and to immediately inform Dentme of this fact.
- The Customer undertakes not to use abusive, threatening or discriminatory language in chat, via e-mail, over the phone or at Dentmes' clinic against anyone within the framework of the Service, nor to engage in harassment.
- The Customer undertakes to use the Service only on its own behalf. The Customer is not entitled to transfer its rights or obligations to anyone else under these General Terms and Conditions.
- Price, invoicing and payment
- Prices and Fees for using the Service are set out in the current price list available in the Platform and on Dentme's websitewww.dentme.com.
- Payment is made directly at the time the contract is signed. Thereafter, debiting takes place in advance each calendar month. This means that the Customer will continue to be charged until the Customer terminates the Service.
- Payment is made via the Platform by, for example, card payment, Trustly or Swish, depending on the payment method available from time to time. Payment must be made by the due date. When paying by card, the Customer is responsible for ensuring that there are sufficient funds in the specified account.
- In the event of late payment, Dentme is entitled to charge interest on arrears, a reminder fee and a collection fee in accordance with the law.
- Customers registered with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency are entitled to a general dental care allowance, which is paid annually as a state dental care allowance and any special dental care allowance granted. These contributions form part of the Fee. When the Agreement is entered into, the Customer agrees that Dentme claims the dental care allowance in its entirety from the Swedish Social Insurance Agency for the duration of the Agreement. Even if a Customer is denied Membership at the initial Examination, Dentme reserves the right to claim the general dental care contribution, provided that such contribution is available.
- Dentme is entitled to charge an administrative Fee of up to SEK 490 in connection with the disclosure of patient records or copies of patient records.
- Dentme is entitled to charge a Fee of up to SEK 490 for booking and/or using an emergency appointment.
- Add-on services
- Crown
- Guarantee
- The tooth-supported crown is covered by a guarantee of two(2) years from the date of installation.
- The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, as well as loosening of the crown under normal conditions.
- Limitations of the guarantee
- The guarantee applies tonot if caries occurs in connection with the crown.
- The guarantee applies tonot in the event of a serious deterioration in oral hygiene or if the patient seriously neglects dental care.
- Injuries caused by external force, teeth grinding (bruxism) or abnormal loading are covered not of the guarantee.
- The patient's responsibility
- Patients are responsible for their oral hygiene and should usefloss daily to ensure the sustainability of the krona.
- Regular dental visits and professional cleaning are recommended to maintain good oral health.
- Other
- If there is a problem with the crown, the patient should immediately contact their dentist for assessment.
- The dentist reserves the right to refuse guarantee measures if the above conditions are not met.
By accepting the treatment, the patient agrees to these conditions.
- Root canal filling

Root canal therapy is a medical treatment aimed at preserving a tooth whose pulp (nerve) has become inflamed or infected. The treatment involves removing the pulp, cleaning and sealing the root canals. Permanent restoration of the tooth is part of the treatment. In some cases, a porcelain crown may be indicated to ensure the best possible durability of the tooth. The cost of the crown is not covered by the treatment.
The customer understands that: - The outcome of root canal treatment cannot be guaranteed.
- The tooth may crack or re-infect, even after proper treatment.
- Re-treatment (re-do) or remedial action in the event of a failed root canal is not included in the treatment.
- The patient may persist with soreness, pain or discomfort after the end of treatment.
- If more advanced treatment is needed, a referral to a specialist can be made.
- No refund or financial compensation will be given if the result of the treatment does not meet the patient's expectations or if the tooth needs to be removed in the future.

- Bed rail
- Guarantee
- The bed rail is covered by a warranty ofone (1) year from the date of delivery.
- The warranty applies to defects in materials and workmanship.
- Limitations of the guarantee
- The guarantee applies tonotin case of improper use of the bite guard.
- The warranty does not cover damage caused by external force, severe biting, chewing on the splint or if the splint has been modified by the patient.
- If the bite changes due to tooth movement or dental treatment, the guarantee is not valid.
- The bed rail is not replaced in case of loss.
- The patient's responsibility
- The patient shalluse the occlusal splint as recommended by your dentist.
- The bed rail should be cleaned daily with lukewarm water and mild soap or special cleaning solution. Toothpaste should be avoided as it can damage the plastic.
- The bed rail should be stored in the case provided when not in use to reduce the risk of loss or damage.
- Other
- In case of discomfort, damage or other problems with the splint, patients should contact their dentist for adjustment or advice.
- The dentist reserves the right to refuse guarantee measures if the above conditions are not met.
By accepting the splint, the patient accepts these conditions.
- Essix
- Guarantee
- The Essix rail is covered by a warranty ofsix (6) months from the date of delivery.
- The warranty applies to defects in materials and workmanship.
- Limitations of the guarantee
- The guarantee applies tonot in case of improper use of the rail.
- The guarantee coversnot injuries caused by chewing, bite marks, external force or if the splint was modified by the patient.
- If the bite changes due to tooth movement or dental treatment, the guarantee is not valid.
- The Essix rail is not reimbursed in case of loss.
- The patient's responsibility
- The patient shalluse the splint according to the dentist's recommendationsto ensure a stable treatment outcome.
- The Essix rail should be cleaned daily with lukewarm water and mild soap or a special cleaning solution. Toothpaste should be avoided as it can scratch the plastic.
- The rail should be stored in the case provided when not in use to reduce the risk of loss or damage.
- Other
- In case of discomfort, damage or if the splint becomes worn, the patient should contact their dentist for assessment.
- The dentist reserves the right to refuse guarantee measures if the above conditions are not met.
By accepting the Essix splint, the patient agrees to these conditions.
- Partial denture for temporary use
- Guarantee
- The partial denture is covered by a guarantee of six (6) months from the date of delivery.
- The warranty applies to defects in materials and workmanship.
- Limitations of the guarantee
- The guarantee applies to not in case of improper use of the prosthesis.
- The guarantee coversnotdamage caused by dropping, external force or if the prosthesis was modified by the patient.
- If the condition of the mouth changes, for example due to jawbone retraction or tooth movement, the guarantee is not valid.
- The partial denture is not covered in case of loss.
- The patient's responsibility
- The patient shalluse the prosthesis according to the dentist's recommendations.
- The denture should be cleaned daily with a soft brush and special denture cleaner - regular toothpaste should be avoided as it can scratch the surface.
- The prosthesis should be stored in water or a recommended cleaning solution when not in use to prevent drying out.
- Other
- In case of discomfort, poor fit or damage to the prosthesis, patients should contact their dentist for adjustment or assessment.

By accepting the partial denture, the patient accepts these conditions.
- Teeth whitening service
- Scope of the service
- An initial clinic visit where a dentist or dental hygienist assesses the patient's oral health. The service is only offered if the patient's oral health is assessed as good.
A 3D scan of the patient's teeth is performed in order to produce a customized whitening tray.
A bleaching tray is made specifically for the patient and handed out together withbleaching gel and instructions for home use.
Possibility of follow-up contact for advice or adjustment if needed.
- An initial clinic visit where a dentist or dental hygienist assesses the patient's oral health. The service is only offered if the patient's oral health is assessed as good.
- User requirements and responsibilities
- In order to useDentures teeth whitening service is required to the patient:
- Is at least 18 years old.
- Have undergone an approved oral health assessment by Dentme.
- Not pregnant or breastfeeding (recommendation from the Medical Products Agency anddental authorities).
- Not suffering from untreated dental caries, gingivitis, root canal treatment or similar.
- are not allergic to any of the active ingredients in the bleach (e.g. hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide)
- In order to useDentures teeth whitening service is required to the patient:
- Use of bleaching agents
- The bleaching gel contains a hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide active substance and is intended for cosmetic use on healthy teeth.
The bleaching agent must only be used in combination with the customized splint as instructed by Dentme.
Overuse or misuse may lead to irritation, sensitivity, gum irritation or other side effects. It is the patient's responsibility to follow the recommended dosage and duration of treatment.
In case of severe symptoms or discomfort, stop treatment immediately and contact Dentme.
- The bleaching gel contains a hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide active substance and is intended for cosmetic use on healthy teeth.
- Treatment outcome
- Teeth whitening is an aesthetic treatment and the result varies depending on individual factors such as; the natural color of the teeth, the cause of discoloration, lifestyle factors (eg tobacco, coffee, wine), genetics, previous repairs and porcelain veneers / porcelain crowns (these are not bleached but are not damaged by the treatment).
Dentme does not guarantee a specific result or durability over time. Discoloration may recur with continued exposure to dyes.
- Teeth whitening is an aesthetic treatment and the result varies depending on individual factors such as; the natural color of the teeth, the cause of discoloration, lifestyle factors (eg tobacco, coffee, wine), genetics, previous repairs and porcelain veneers / porcelain crowns (these are not bleached but are not damaged by the treatment).
- Limitation of liability
- Dentme is only liable for damages caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct ofDentures page.Dentme not responsible for:
- Damage caused by improper use of the products.
- Results that do not meet personal expectations.
- Allergic reactions or side effects that the patient did not inform Dentme about during the Examination.

- Right of withdrawal and return
- As the whitening tray is a personalized product according to the patient's unique dental imprint, no right of withdrawal under the Distance Contracts Act applies after production has begun.
As bleaching gel is a medical device, Dentme cannot offer a right of withdrawal after the product has left Dentme's premises.

- Rebooking and cancellation
- The customer can contact Dentme in the platform in logged-in mode to reschedule or cancel an Examination.
- Cancellations must be notified at least 24 hours before the scheduled examination. In the event of absence from the examination or in the event of rescheduling or cancellation less than 24 hours before the booked time for the examination, Dentme is entitled to charge the Customer a fee of SEK 399.
- Contract duration and termination
- The contract including the General Conditions is valid until further notice.
- The Customer has the right to terminate the Contract at any time without giving reasons.
- If, at the time of termination, the Customer has no upcoming booking within the current billing period, the Service is valid until the end of the billing period. If, however, the Customer has a future booking within the current billing period, this booking must first be canceled, or completed, before the termination becomes valid.
- If, after termination of the Contract, the Customer wishes to sign a new contract, this may be signed no earlier than 5 years after the date of termination. A new Examination is required before re-signing. If the Customer so wishes, Dentme may unilaterally decide to reactivate the Customer before the period of 5 years has expired if Dentme finds it appropriate in the individual case.
- The Customer's termination of the Service can be done in the Platform in logged-in mode by following the instructions provided there.
- Dentme has the right to terminate the Service including the General Terms and Conditions with immediate effect if the Customer fails to fulfill its obligations under the General Terms and Conditions. This applies, for example, if:
- The customer repeatedly fails to show up/late cancels agreed visits or cannot be reached,
- the Customer does not pay the Fee for the Contract
- the customer is seriously neglecting their dental health
- the customer uses abusive, threatening or discriminatory language or harassment
- The customer refuses the necessary proposed care, or
- the customer has provided false information, for example about their state of health or identity
- Limitation of liability
- Dentme cannot guarantee that the Service will be technically error-free or without disruptions, that errors will be corrected within a certain time or that the Service or the servers required for the Service to function are free of harmful components. Technical disruptions may prevent the Customer from using the Service. Dentme is not responsible for the availability of the Service, technical disruptions or loss of data, unless otherwise provided by law.
- To the extent that mandatory law does not provide otherwise, the Customer accepts that Dentme cannot be held liable if the Customer suffers direct or indirect damage or loss caused by, or in connection with, the use of the Service if such damage is not caused by gross negligence on the part of Dentme and Dentme can at the same time be held liable for the damage in question in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions.
- Dentme cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for the care or treatment provided by another healthcare provider, nor does it have any obligation to remedy any deficiencies resulting from care or treatment provided by another healthcare provider.
- Force majeure
- Dentme is not liable for any damage or loss that may arise as a result of the Service being deficient or unable to be provided due to events beyond Dentme's control, such as pandemic, legislative order, government action, labor market conflict, extraordinary social events or similar circumstances.
- Notifications
- The Customer shall provide the e-mail address and telephone number to which the Customer wishes Dentme to send confirmations, reminders and other messages from time to time. The Customer is obliged to notify Dentme without delay of any changes in its contact details.
- Personal data processing
- Dentmes' personal data processing is regulated in Dentmesprivacy notice.
- Change of conditions
- Dentme is entitled to amend or supplement these General Terms and Conditions without obtaining prior approval from the Customer. Such amendment shall, for existing Customers, take effect 30 days after the amendment has been published in the Platform and on Dentme's websitewww.dentme.com. In case the changes are extensive or particularly intrusive, Dentme intends to send such changes to the e-mail address provided by the Customer. By continuing to use the Service, the Customer accepts the change in the General Terms and Conditions. For new Customers, the latest published General Terms and Conditions apply immediately.
- Other
- Dentme is entitled to use subcontractors for the performance of its obligations under these General Terms and Conditions.
- Applicable law and dispute
- Disputes arising from the interpretation or application of the Agreement shall be settled by a Swedish court in accordance with Swedish law.
- Disputes can also be reviewed by the General Complaints Board (Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm,www.arn.se). A decision of the General Complaints Board is a recommendation on how the dispute should be resolved and is not binding on either party.
- Cross-border disputes can be resolved via the European Commission's online platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
