About your Membership

Frequently asked questions

What does Membership mean?

Membership with us is available to those aged 18 or over and starts with a dental examination to ensure we can provide the right care for your needs. Once you've been approved as a Member, you'll pay a fixed monthly fee of £149, which covers your regular Examinations and other necessary treatments such as fillings, tooth extractions and much more. Become a member for no more than €149/month or €1490/year

Do I need to do an Examination before I can become a Member?

A Membership with us starts with a dental examination that we perform at our clinic. We do this to ensure that we can provide the right care for your needs. The Examination is booked directly when you apply for Membership. Even if you need any treatment included in the Membership after you have been approved, you pay no more than 149:-/month or 1490:-/year, you decide!

How often can I book a visit?

We recommend an Annual check-up visit. Your dentist will set up an individual treatment plan and may suggest more frequent visits if this is better for you and your teeth. Regular visits help prevent dental problems and ensure good long-term dental health. As a Member, you can also reach our dentists via online chat on the website.

Can I become a member if I have cavities or other dental problems?

Yes, at your first free Examination we will carry out an individual assessment to ensure that Dentme can help you maintain good oral health in the long term. Once you've been accepted as a Member, we'll also schedule any repairs or procedures that need to be done straight away. These are then included as part of your Membership. You only pay SEK 149 per month regardless.

Can I cancel my Membership whenever I want?

Yes, as we have no Commitment period, you can end your Membership whenever you want. However, you may want to know that the earliest you can apply to become a Member again is five years after you terminated your Membership. We cannot guarantee a future place or Membership, as availability is limited.

If you choose to pay annually, you can only cancel until your last payment date, you are of course covered for care during your subscription period regardless!

Can I be denied Membership?

Yes, Membership may be refused if, at the time of your initial Examination, the dentist considers that Dentme cannot currently meet your dental needs. In this case, we will recommend another provider who can better serve you. The Examination is free of charge for you - we will primarily use your General Dental Allowance (GDA) if it is available. Once your dental needs have been addressed, you are welcome to apply for Membership again. See full terms and conditions at:www.dentme.com/terms-and-conditions

What happens if I miss an appointment?

Missed appointments are not covered by your Membership. To avoid being charged, it is important that you cancel your appointment at least 24 hours before your visit if you are unable to attend. Missed visits or cancellations made later than 24 hours before your appointment will be charged SEK 399.

How does my dental allowance work?

The general dental care allowance is a financial support from Försäkringskassan that you receive automatically every year. The amount is either SEK 300 or SEK 600, depending on your age, and can be used for dental care covered by the national dental care allowance - for example, examinations, preventive care and regular treatments. The grant is awarded on July 1 each year and can be saved for up to two years.

At Dentme, everything is included in your monthly fee - even the government dental subsidy. When you come in for your annual Examination, we'll make sure to automatically apply the allowance you're entitled to. You don't need to keep track of the amount or date - we do it for you. And even if you don't have any allowance to use at that time, your Price won't be affected.

Please note that if you are refused Membership as a new patient, your ATB will be deducted at the time of the initial Examination. We want taking care of your dental health to be as easy, safe and transparent as possible.
