The journey towards your new smile starts with booking a free consultation via our online booking system. You choose a time that suits you and receive an immediate confirmation.

On your first visit to the clinic, you'll meet one of our dentists who will carry out a thorough examination of your teeth and gums. We will go over what you want to achieve, take clinical photos and perform a digital 3D scan of your teeth. This gives you the opportunity to see a preliminary preview of the intended result and your future smile. Using this information, we will assess whether Invisalign is the right treatment for you. If not, we always make recommendations on other options that may be more suitable.

Once the scan is complete, your data is sent to Invisalign specialists who create a digital 3D simulation, called ClinCheck. It shows how your teeth will move step by step during treatment. You will then see a preview of the result, and together we will go through the simulation in detail. Here you can ask questions and finally approve the plan before we move on.

Once you have approved your treatment plan, Invisalign will start manufacturing your individually customized aligners. Each set of aligners is uniquely designed to gradually move your teeth into the desired position. Once fabrication is complete, the aligner set is delivered to our clinic.

At your initial visit, you'll try on your first aligners with your dentist. We'll make sure they fit properly, attach any small brackets to certain teeth to improve precision, and go through the whole process of use in detail. You'll be given instructions on how to insert and remove the trays, how to clean them and how often to change them. We'll also go through your individual schedule and tell you how to track your treatment via the Invisalign app.

During treatment, you wear your aligners for about 22 hours a day and only remove them when you eat, drink anything other than water or brush your teeth. They are usually replaced with a new pair every week, You will come for follow-up visits approximately every four to six weeks, where we check that everything is going as planned. If necessary, we make small adjustments or additional scans to fine-tune the result.

Once the treatment is complete, we do a final check and evaluate the results. We take new photos and, if necessary, a new 3D scan to make sure everything is perfect. Next, you'll receive your customized retainers to help your teeth hold their new position. We'll go through how to use them, how to clean them and how long you should wear them.

At the end of the session, we will go through your entire journey, discuss the results and collect your feedback. You'll get tips on how to keep your new smile for the long term and the opportunity to take before and after pictures.
